WOTM hosts three major events per year that complement each of the participating organizations. Partnering organizations will have the opportunity to have a showcase table and provide representation. WOTM is also part of one community event per year, and currently, it is the “Mad Hatter” event in Old Colorado City — Women with Hat-itudes.
WOTM has also hosted a “Progressive Crawl” honoring local women-owned businesses and provided the attendees to learn of their struggles and triumphs with owning a business in Colorado Springs. So far, WOTM has raised about $2,000 just from themed, happy-hour events at locally owned establishments from a bed and breakfast in Old Colorado City to a wine shop in Manitou.
